If you pay close enough attention to the data, you can notice recurring sales of the same amount on similar days of the week. These occur because customers make a habit of purchasing from the machine each week, to fill their feeders or feed their livestock.

This month was our first month with credit card acceptance, you can see that only a few of the purchases were card based. Compare this with October, and you can see that customers have gotten used to paying with a credit card.

You might notice that all of the sales are in dollar increments, this is because the above data is from our prototype machine that only accepted cash. This sales data comes from our first year in business.

Let's talk about location, the above machine was put in Lanier County Georgia, and this data comes from its first year of operation. Lanier county had a relatively small population of 10,312 in 2015 according to Google. Your surrounding area may have a larger or smaller population and your sales figures should be a reflection of this. Of course, if you place the machine beside a hunting club for example, you could see more sales per population. Regardless, even with the data above, we conservatively estimate a return on investment to be around three years.

You will find that our machine is priced similar to large ice vending machines but do not suffer from a saturated market. Depending on where your business is located, sales tax may apply. We strive to have the most affordable grain vending machine on the market and we actually encourage you to compare our price with similar products. This price includes setup (and free delivery if you're close to Georgia!), there are no hidden fees or royalties. Of course, you may have monthly fees such as power, property rent and merchant service fees for your card, but there are no monthly or hidden fees through us.

We want you to know how to fully utilize the features of your machine and have a great ownership experience. If you're already a farmer that grows corn, you're absolutely in the right business to own one of our machines. Instead of selling your corn through a farmer's co-op, you can sell it directly to the customer and cut out all of the middle men. However, even if you don't grow your own corn, there's still a large profit to be made.

Our favorite way to get corn is to buy from local farmers. Typically, if you buy corn in bulk from a farmer, you can sell it for over twice the price you paid at your machine and still be cheaper than a storefront selling 50lb bags. If you don't know any local farmers or don't have the equipment to transport large quantities of grain, you can buy from a grain elevator. Often, the grain elevator will transport corn to your machine for you, rent equipment to you, or help you organize transport by a third party.

Buy, hire, or rent an auger or seed tender.

Probably the most economical way to fill your machine is to buy a pull-behind auger and a gravity wagon. Of course, if you're just getting started you can find services to do it for you. If you really want the most convenience and the least amount of effort to fill your machine, we recommend buying a seed tender truck. These trucks have everything you need to buy corn, fill up and auger into your machine in one trip!

We currently have two sizes available for the polymer tops on our machine, 118 Bushel and 150 Bushel. These two sizes give you flexibility on how you want to operate your machine. The 118 Bushel capacity is designed to be filled by a short pull behind auger, or seed tender truck. At just over twelve feet tall, the short top does not require expensive machinery to fill and can even fit under most industrial roofed areas.

The 150 bushel capacity will require a slightly longer auger to fill, but obviously holds more product. We should note that depending on how much product you sell, it's important not to hold too much product at any given time. This is because you want to keep corn fresh and minimize the chances of pests appearing in your product. If corn is sitting in your machine for longer than a month, you are probably over filling it. The maize weevil has a reproductive time of 30 days, so you shouldn't give them enough time to multiply. Luckily, we have sized our machines appropriately to hold enough corn but not too much, and the two sized tops are to cover low volume and high volume markets.

Absolutely, we have full confidence in the build quality and reliability of our machines. That's why they come standard with a one year warranty and 24/7 remote and on-site assistance during and after the warranty period. If you need a replacement part for your machine, it is absolutely no problem. We can supply any replacement part necessary and can even install them on site. If you prefer to do the work yourself we can provide any necessary documentation to help you do so. Should any problem arise with the software on your machine, we can remotely update it at your convenience. The only cost to you for this update will be the small data charge by your Internet service provider, we won't charge you for any software update.
